[More...] August 9 2006.- Two teenage brothers have been found guilty of killing schoolboy Damilola Taylor nearly six years ago. Danny and Rickie Preddie, aged 18 and 19, of Peckham, London, were convicted at the Old Bailey of manslaughter. Damilola, 10, bled to death after being cut with a broken bottle in south London. Mr. Ouassif met the agent at an Oakland subway station on Nov. 30, and the two men walked the streets together for 90 minutes. Mr. Fliflet told the 24-year-old Moroccan that he'd been monitoring his friends and him for many months, Mr. Ouassif recalls. Mr. Fliflet made him an offer: Become an informant and regularly report to the FBI on what his Muslim friends in San Francisco were saying and doing. In exchange, he would get back his green card. He could resume his education, bring his Moroccan wife to America, and pursue his dream of buying a car, moving to Sacramento and becoming an engineer. Usually a hundred people, although not always. The harassment looks like “life’s normal breaks” to the selected targets. That way if the target complains about all of these things that are happening, and maybe realizes where it is coming from, the people he is complaining to are now regarding him as a “complainer” or could also be regarded as “mentally ill”, or even a “kook”. Throw in some sabotage, tell lies about that person, and ruin the targets reputation, and over a period of time that target will eventually be destroyed. Lana Vandenberghe, who worked for the Independent Police Complaints Commission, said that ten officers broke down her front door in a dawn raid. She was placed in a cell without food or access to a lawyer for eight hours by bullying officers who told her that she would go to prison. Five teenage boys accused of plotting a shooting rampage at their high school on the anniversary of the Columbine massacre were arrested Thursday after details of the alleged scheme appeared on the Web site MySpace.com. Sheriff's deputies found guns, ammunition, knives and coded messages in the bedroom of one suspect, Sheriff Steve Norman said. An 11 year old girl who was being harassed by a group of boys throwing water ballons and rocks at her was arrested by police after she threw a rock back at her bully to defend herself. 3 police cars and a helicopter were used to subdue and arrest the child. She was then put into holding for 5 days with only one 30 minute visit from her parents, and upon her release she was forced to wear a GPS ankle braclet for 30 days. Even when being street harassed it seems that society does not want targets to defend themselves. This sends a clear message to bullies and harassers that thier actions are correct, and that they are not the ones that will pay the price.
