Woman Wins $1.5 Million in Bullying Claim

Aug 02 2006. - A former Deutsche Bank employee who accused her colleagues of bullying her won more than $1.5 million from the company Tuesday. Justice Robert Owen of London's High Court said Helen Green was "subjected to a relentless campaign of mean and spiteful behavior designed to cause her distress."

The actions of Green's colleagues at the secretariat division of Deutsche Bank Group Services (UK) Ltd., where she worked from 1997 to 2001, amounted to "a deliberate and concerted campaign of bullying," Owen said.. [More...]
School district decides to appeal bullying lawsuit

November 02 2005. -he Tonganoxie school district will appeal a $250,000 jury award to a former student who was harassed by other students. Last week, the district's attorneys filed notice that they would appeal the case to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver. The suit hinges on Dylan Theno's claim he was harassed for several years by other Tonganoxie students. Theno also said he quit school at the start of his junior year because of that harassment by male students. A U.S. District Court jury in August awarded Theno $250,000 at the conclusion of a trial in Kansas City, Kan. [More...]

AGAINST EMPLOYER $650,000____________________________Fishman and Merrick Roxanne Rochester, a Chicago lawyer, claimed she was forced out of her job at Fishman and Merrick when she said she was sexually harassed and assaulted. Rochester claimed that former law partner Gerald Fishman abused her during 1990 and 1991. The jury deliberated for less than three hours and returned a verdict in her favor with an award of $650,000.
