This Ontario guide that came out in October 2004, is one of the most extensive studies done into workplace harassment. The study is an amazing 117 pages of reporting and recommendations. The guide is well worth the read for anyone suffering harassment, or anyone who supports these individuals. The study researched dozens of woman over a two year period, getting information and insight into their various experiences with workplace harassment. It also looks at their encounters with access to support and reporting of harassment to various agencies. The report has victim stories, feedback on what friends, family, support workers, police, lawyers, doctors, can do to better assist woman with access and support if they are suffering workplace violence. It also goes into the external effect of harassment on the individual and their families. The report was funded by Status of Women Canada, and also supported by several other agencies in gathering and organising the focus group and then compiling the information for the report.
